How to Install Official Android 5.0 Lollipop on XOLO One

The latest Android OS Lollipop is spreading all over the world now a days for most of the Smartphones and maximum users having an Android device wish to get this Android updated OS version. Before Getting Started:

• Create a proper backup of all your data and settings manually of your device like SMS, MMS, Call Log, Contacts and media files etc in your PC.
• Enable USB Debugging Mode by heading over to “Settings > Developer Options”
• Ensure that your XOLO One has at least 70% of charge before proceeding to the firmware installation.
• Download and install the XOLO One USB Drivers on the PC.

Steps to Update XOLO One to Android 5.0 Lollipop Manually:

Step No 1:- First, download XOLO One Android 5.0 Lollipop (update.zip) from the above given link. Do not extract the “Update.zip” file.

Step No 2:- Connect your XOLO One device to the PC using its USB data cable.

Step No 3:- Turn off the device for a while and then turn it on and wait for the Green Android Logo to be appeared on the screen.

Step No 4:- Mount the USB storage of your XOLO One to the PC by tapping the Turn On USB storage option to mount the Xolo One on your PC.

Step No 5:- Open the XOLO One’s mounted storage volume on your PC.

Step No 6:- Copy the update.zip file to the SD Card or internal storage of your XOLO One.

Step No 7:- Tap on Turn off storage on the phone and unplug it from the PC.

Step No 8:- Launch XOLO Care app on the device and then tap on update tab.

Step No 9:- Click on Check for software update → Check for updates.

Step No 10:- XOLO Care app will search for the update.zip file automatically which you have already transferred to your phone in Step No 6.

Step No 11:- After finding the update.zip file having size 557.72MB, an update option will be appeared for this package.

Step No 12:- Choose the update package and tap on Continue to install the update.

Step No 13:- Your device will reboot automatically after the installation process is completed.

Done! You’ve successfully updated XOLO One to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update via official OTA manually.
