Before Getting Started:
- Make a proper back up of all your important data and settings on the phone before proceeding to flash your device using a custom Recovery like ClockworkMod (CWM) or TWRP.
- Ensure that you’ve properly installed correct USB Drivers on the PC for your Galaxy Note 4.
- Enable USB Debugging mode by going to Settings > Developer Options.
- Your device should be Rooted with the latest CWM Recovery installed.
- The bootloader of your Galaxy Note 4 should be Unlocked.
- Verify the battery level of your phone, it should be charged at least about 80% before going ahead to the following instructions.

Steps to Update Sprint Galaxy Note 4 to SlimLP Android 5.0.2 Alpha 1 ROM:
Follow the given instructions to update Galaxy Note 4 (Sprint) to Android 5.0.2 SlimLP Lollipop custom firmware:
Step No 1:- First, plug your Galaxy Note 4 with the PC and mount the USB Mass Storage of the phone.
Step No 2:- Transfer the SlimLP Android 5.0.2 custom ROM .zip file (Slim-trltespr-5.0.2.alpha.1.0-WEEKLY-8621.zip)
that you’ve already downloaded from the above links to the root folder of SD Card on the phone.
Step No 3:- Disconnect your Galaxy Note 4 from PC.
Step No 4:- Turn Off the device in order to boot it into Recovery Mode.
Step No 5:- Turn On the device by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power keys at the same time.
Step No 6:- While your Galaxy Note 4 is now in CWM Recovery, perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Dalvik Cache by navigating to Advanced and select Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Note:- Please note that Wipe Dalvik Cache will help you to prevent boot loop issues or any errors related to boot ROM during firmware installation.
Step No 7:- Go back to the main recovery menu and select Install Zip from SD Card -> Choose Zip from SD Card. Navigate to the SlimLP custom ROM .zip file which you have already transferred to SD card of your phone. Select it by tapping Power button and confirm to proceed the ROM installation.
Step No 8:- Install Google Apps (Gapps) Package by repeating the above steps on your phone.
Step No 9:- Go to “+++++Go Back+++++” and in the Recovery menu, select Reboot System Now once the ROM and Gapps installation completes.
Your Sprint Galaxy Note 4 will not be restarted and will take about 4 to 5 minutes to boot up.
Done! You’ve updated Galaxy Note 4 (Sprint) to the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop via SlimLP custom ROM.
