Before Getting Started:

  • Enable USB debugging on your Note 4 by navigating to Settings -> Developers Options.
  • Install USB drivers on Kies on your PC.
  • Download CF-Auto package for Note 4 from this link.

Steps To Root Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910W8

Step No 1:- First of all extract the cf-root zip package that you have already downloaded from the above link for your Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910W8 containing Odin3 v3.07 and tar.md5 rooted kernel.

Step No 2:- Put your Galaxy Note 4 into the Download Mode. To do so first turn off your Note 4 and then press and hold the Volume Down+Menu+Power buttons altogether for a while until a warning message appears on the screen. Just press the Volume Up key to continue into download mode.

Step No 3:- Connect Galaxy Note 4 to your computer via its USB  cable while in download mode.

Step No 4:- Launch Odin flashing tool, click on the ‘PDA’ button in Odin and choose the tar.md5 rooted kernel file which you have extracted in Step No 1.

Step No 6:- Wait for a while and once completed successfully, the green labeled PASS! message will be displayed on the Odin’s screen and your Note 4 will be rebooted automatically.

Step No 7:- After rebooting, check whether SuperSU is properly installed or not, simply download and install the Root Checker from the Google Play Store and launch it.

Congratulations! You’ve rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910W8 successfully via Chainfire CF-auto root method running the Android 4.4.4 KitKat firmware.
