A new custom ROM named Lollipopalooza, which is based on the latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop version LRX22C, is now available to download and install on the Nexus 10 tablet. This custom ROM (Lollipopalooza) has been developed by craigacgomez, a senior XDA member. This is an AOSP ROM having some handy AOSP features and is fully de-odexed. Nexus 10 tablet was one of those first lucky devices which tasted Android 5.0.1 Lollipop previously.

You’ll need to root your device and a custom recovery like CWM should be installed to flash this ROM and Google Apps .zip files on your Nexus 10 tablet.

This custom firmware is unofficial, not officially released by Samsung/Google, and is still under development so it might has some bugs. The Android 5.0.1 Lollipopalooza AOSP ROM is only applicable to Nexus 10 tablets only. Do not apply it on any incorrect variant, as a result it might brick your device. Before Getting Started:
- Make a backup of all your required data using a custom recovery like CWM and TWRP on your Nexus 10 as this guide might wipe out all data.
- Enable USB Debugging Mode on your Nexus 10 by going to Settings - Developer Options.
- Your Nexus 10 tablet should be rooted along with a custom recovery installed.
- The bootloader of your device must be unlocked.
- The battery level of your Nexus 10 should be at least about 75% before proceeding to the ROM flashing process.

Steps to Update Nexus 10 to Lollipopalooza Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Custom ROM:
Follow the given steps to install the Lollipopalooza AOSP ROM to get Android 5.0.1 LRX22C on Nexus 10.
Step No 1:- First of all, plug your Nexus 10 to the PC via its original USB data cable and mount the memory of your phone.
Step No 2:- Copy the Lollipopalooza AOSP ROM (Lollipopalooza_aosp_manta-LRX22C-20141209.zip) and Google Apps package (GoogleAppsPackARM-LRX21O-20141128.zip) files to the root folder of your SD Card of the phone.
Step No 3:- Unplug the phone after copying the .zip files.
Step No 4:- Turn Off the Nexus 10 and wait for 10 seconds.
Step No 5:- Now turn it on while pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time to boot your Nexus 10 into Bootloader Mode.
Step No 6:- Choose Bootloader and then navigate to Recovery by following the on-screen instructions.
Step No 7:- The Nexus 10 is now in Recovery Mode, from here you can wipe data/factory reset, perform a cache wipe by selecting wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache [Advanced > wipe dalvik cache] to avoid boot loops.
Step No 8:- Go back to the main menu of recovery, choose install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard. Find the Lollipopalooza AOSP ROM via Volume buttons that you’ve already copied to your phone in Step No 2. Select the .zip file and on the next screen confirm the installation to begin.
Step No 9:- Install Gapps (Google Apps) package on the tablet after flashing the ROM by repeating the above step.
Step No 10:- Restart your Nexus 10 by selecting “reboot system now”. The first boot will take a few minutes after installation. Do not press any button on the device until the screen appears.
