Before Getting Started:
- It is highly recommended to take a proper backup of your current data using a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP to make a full image of the existing setup on the device.
- Make sure that you have properly installed USB Drivers on your PC for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
- Enable USB Debugging Mode on your phone by navigating to Settings > Developer Options.
- The Galaxy Note 2 should rooted and have a custom recovery (ClockworkMod recovery / TWRP recovery).
- The bootloader of your phone must be unlocked.
- Don’t forget to check the battery level of your phone, it must be charged above 70% to prevent unexpected shutdowns while installing ROM.

Follow these given instructions to install Resurrection Remix Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on Galaxy Note 2 N7100. Read all the steps below carefully.
Step No 1:- First of all, download CyanogenMod 12 Android 5.0 custom ROM (cm-Resurrection_Remix_LP_v5.2.5-20141225-n7100.zip) on the desktop of your PC for Galaxy Note 2.
Step No 2:- Now plug your device to the PC using its USB data cable and mount USB mass storage of the phone.
Step No 3:- Transfer the Resurrection Remix ROM .zip file (downloaded from the above link) to the root folder of your SD Card on the phone.
Step No 4:- Disconnect the Galaxy Note 2 from the PC and turn it off.
Step No 5:- Next, get your device into Recovery Mode. Turn On the device while pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons altogether.
Step No 6:- Once your device enters into CWM Recovery, perform:
- Full data wipe → Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
- Wipe Cache Partition
- Advanced → Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step No 7:- Go back to the main menu of recovery and choose Install Zip from SD card.
Step No 8:- Click Choose Zip fromSD card and find Resurrection Remix ROM .zip file which you’ve already transferred to the root folder of your SD Card. Confirm and start the ROM installation process on the next screen.
Step No 9:- Install Google Apps (Gapps) on your phone by repeating the above steps.
Step No 10:- After installing the ROM and Google Apps on your Galaxy Note 2, navigate to “+++++Go Back+++++” and from the Recovery menu, select Reboot System Now.
Your device will be restarted now and it will take about 4 to 5 minutes while booting up for the 1st time after installation.
Done! You’ve successfully installed CM12 based Resurrection Remix Android 5.0.2 Lollipop custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
