Samsung released a new stock firmware update for Galaxy S4 Mini 3G variants, this latest firmware is based on Android 4.4.2 with build number I9190XXUCNJ3. If you have Galaxy S4 Mini then this firmware is available to download and update on your device. But there is currently no news from Samsung that when Android 5.0 Lollipop will be released for Galaxy S4.

Note:

Steps to Install I9190XXUCNJ3 Android 4.4.2 on Galaxy S4 Mini I9190:

Step 1:- First of all unzip firmware .zip file and Odin flashing tool that you have downloaded from the above links and you’ll get a .tar.md5 and Odin3 v.3.09.exe files on your desktop.

Step 2:- Place the Galaxy S4 Mini into Download Mode. First Turn Off your device and then press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down keys at the same time.

Step 3:- Now double-click on the Odin tool to launch it as Administrator on the PC.

Step 4:- While your S4 Mini is in Download Mode, connect it to PC via its original USB data cable. If you have properly installed the Samsung USB Drivers on your PC then Odin will detect the device after a while and the ID: COM box will turn light blue in Odin once the phone is connected successfully.

Step 5:- In Odin, hit the AP button and choose the firmware file that you have already extracted in Step 1, having .tar.md5 extension.

Step 6:- Don’t forget to tick Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options in Odin and Re-Partition option should be unchecked.

Step 7:- Click the Start button in Odin to begin the installation. Wait for the flashing process to finished successfully as it will take about 2 to 4 minutes.

Step 8:- Your Galaxy S4 Mini will restart automatically once the installation process is completed.

Step 9:- Disconnect the S4 Mini after the home screen appears on the phone.

Done! You have successfully updated Galaxy S4 Mini to the new I9190XXUCNJ3 Android 4.4.2 stock firmware.
