How to Root Galaxy A3 on Android 4.4.4 KitKat using CF-Root Method [All Variants]

Today we’ll let you know that how to root Samsung Galaxy A3 on Android 4.4.4 KitKat Official firmware. Most of all the Samsung devices receiving the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop updates now a days and users are eager to get the sweetness of this latest OS version on their devices but many among them are still using the previous version i.e KitKat 4.4.4. Before Getting Started:

  • Create a proper backup of all your important data and settings such as SMS, MMS, APN Settings, Contacts, Call Logs and media files etc, before proceeding to root your device.
  • Your device should be running on Samsung’s official firmware, not a custom ROM.
  • Enable USB Debugging Mode on the phone.
  • Download and install Samsung Galaxy A3 USB drivers on the PC.
  • A Windows-based PC will be required.
  • Check the battery level of your Galaxy A3, it should be charged above the 80% before proceeding.

Steps to Root Galaxy A3 with Android 4.4.4 KitKat Firmware:

Follow the given step by step guide to root Android 4.4.4 on Galaxy A3 using CF-Root method.

Step No 1:- First of all, download the correct CF-Auto-Root Package file for Samsung Galaxy A3 (depending on model number) from the above given links, and extract it in a folder on the desktop of your PC.

Step No 2:- Next, download Odin v3.09 flashing tool and unzip it as well to get .exe file.

Step No 3:- Put your Galaxy A3 into the Download Mode. To do so, first turn OFF the device and then turn it ON by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Home keys at the same time and then press the Power key until a warning screen appears. Press Volume Up to confirm entering the device into the Download Mode.

Step No 4:- Run Odin flashing tool on your PC (as Administrator).

Step No 5:- Connect Galaxy A3 to the PC while it is in the Download Mode.

Step No 6:- One of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number once the phone is connected successfully and its drivers are installed properly in the PC.

Step No 7:- In Odin, click on the PDA button and navigate to the CF-Auto Root Package file to install that you’ve already extracted in Step No 1. Select it.

Step No 8:- Make sure that the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options are checked.

Step No 9:- Hit the Start button in Odin to initiate the installation process. This flashing process may take some time. So be patient and wait for it to be completed.

Step No 10:- Once the installation is successfully finished, the device will reboot into Recovery Mode automatically and the ID:COM box will also turn green after the flashing the root package.

Step No 11:- When the home screen appears, disconnect the Galaxy A3 from the PC.

Done! You have successfully rooted the Samsung Galaxy A3 on Android 4.4.4 official firmware.
